Psychopomp is the debut album by indie rock artist Japanese Breakfast. The record was inspired by heavy themes of death, the afterlife, and the lives of the surviving family members—the design for the record cover is a linocut scene demonstrating the transition of the soul from the mortal life to the great beyond.

The design was hand drawn, then hand carved into lino before being hand printed and digitized to create the album’s cover and packaging.
